Referring to the popular disdain of Derek and Romaine, Chi Chi reminded the audience how good she looks in comparison. Ouch! Of course, she and we had to admit that the duo didn't do half-bad, after all.

We're fearful that the actor-director-producer would beat us to a pulp if we didn't mention that the man who became Sgt. Haole in GRUNTS finally got his due.









 


6. Ben Leon and Chris Ward win for Best Director and Best Picture, GRUNTS
We're a little biased here, as we were on set for the production, but since Raging Stallion is the perpetual Bad News Bears of the industry, and since they've never taken home Best Picture or Best Director, we're a little farklempt. "The one that I'm most proud of, oddly," says Raging Stallion prexy Chris Ward, "is best editing. I pride myself on my filmmaking and that's the root of it. It's a testament to our technical ability."









7. Tory Mason's New Haircut
It's avante-avante! And the same flaccid mohawk that Chi Chi has out of drag. You can't hold the twink still but really, who wants to hold down the next Abe Lincoln.
