In response to a concerned caller informing them of a local elementary school's dress-up day on Friday, a Christian radio station in Milwaukee interrupted their regularly scheduled programming to accuse the school district of encouraging alternative lifestyles. Students at Pineview Elementary School in Reedsburg, WI were instructed to dress up either as senior citizens or as the opposite sex for their annual "Wacky Week" festivities.
As it happens, the students chose the theme for this year's dress-up day, and school officials were adamant that no one was trying to promote "transgenderism" and this was all in the spirit of "silliness."
We of course find the constant outrage of Christian radio hosts totally hilarious and we wonder if they found anything morally reprehensible about dressing in old-person drag. What about the problem of schools promoting premature geriatric tendencies, huh? Did anyone piss their Depends?
