The pen maybe mightier than the sword, but we wondered how it competes against a ten-inch dick. Or, for that matter, against a gelled Goth non-Asian non-bottom PR monkey. Below are six pieces of verse: two are by Andy Warhol-loving, Pulitzer-Prize winning, homosexual poet laureate John Ashbery, two by crystal-meth-recovering, punk-singing horse-hung Aiden Shaw (pictured) and two by cocktail-loving, Tori-Amos singing, non-racehorshe Jason Curious.
Can you tell which verse is top/vers?
(scroll down for answers)
ONE My heart muscle is hard
Push your hand inside my arse
Take hold of my heart
Squeeze it between your fingers
Pull it from within
Out into this world
And beat it
TWO Perhaps an angel looks like everything
We have forgotten, I mean forgotten
Things that don't seem familiar when
We meet them again, lost beyond telling,
Which were ours once.
THREE You think you're being kissed But I'm talking to you My lips are mouthing words Not slipping, meaning nothing In truth I want you to hear Stuff that isn't spoken
FOUR These shackles, they remain to remind. But with you on your cloud and me on mine.
FIVE Once, on Mannahatta's bleak shore, I trolled for spunkfish, but caught naught, nothing save a rubber plunger or two. It was awful, at that time. Now everything is cheerful. I wonder, does it make a difference?
SIX All his eggs in his inches. Needs a map to get him there, sniffing out that one sure thing.
