Remember Jeffrey Dahmer? Who could forget that hottie, right? After hearing about the "smiley face" case, in which over 40 college guys have gone missing after nights of drinking and been found dead in rivers across the country, we decided to re-open the files on some other unsolved gay serial killings. Granted, the possible motive in the "smiley-face" killings has not been revealed, but the sexual component of serial murder, coupled with the reasonably attractive, drunk college status of the victims, as well as our own tendency
toward the sensational leads us to believe that the boys of Randy Blue and Sean Cody shouldn't be taking their lives lightly. Here's a roundup of some other unsolved multiple-murders out there that the gays out there might be interested in-in a 1-AM-on-basic-cable kind of way.
Colonial Parkway Killer
On the Loose Since: 1986
Details: Four couples were abducted from their cars, including a
lesbian couple, over the course of three years, and their bodies
discarded either behind a rest area or along the Colonial Parkway in
Virginia. One couple, who remains missing and whose car was found
abandoned, is presumed dead but was never found. Police suspect that
the murders were the work of a law enforcement officer or rogue CIA
operative.
Who Should Look Out For Themselves: Young porn wonder couple Aden and Jordan Jaric, who should think twice before making out at any Virginia rest stops.
Atlanta Drag Queen Killer
On the Loose Since: 1987
Details:
Six men in women's clothes were shot in the head over the course of
five years. No known victims since, and no suspect was charged.
Who Should Look Out For Themselves: Atlanta Drag Star Raven and The Artist Formerly Known As Stonie should keep a hand on their heel at all times.
New York City Gay Serial Killer
On the Loose Since: 1991
Details: The bodies of five men were discovered, hacked into
pieces and usually in garbage bags, in the New York area over the
course of three years. As the New York Times reported,
all five mature men were believed to be gay or bisexual, and four of
the men were last seen in New York City gay bars, including the
Townhouse on the Upper East Side and the Five Oaks piano bar in the
West Village. No suspect was ever charged.
Who Should Look Out for Themselves: Will Clark, host of Porno Bingo on Wednesdays in Hell's Kitchen, does too much good to fall into such evil hands!
Denver Gay Slasher
On the Loose Since: 1992
Details: Four men were stabbed to death in the same year, likely by a man they met in a Denver gay bar. No known victims since 1994.
Who Should Look Out For Themselves: Denver-based former porn star Marcus Allen, aka Timothy Bonham... if he ever gets out of prison, that is.
On the Loose Since: 1998
Details:
Two gay Cuban refugees, Leonidas Ramos and Osvaldo Del Pino, were shot
six days apart, probably after bringing home a stranger from
Allapattah-Comstock Park. Miami police believe they've solved the crime, though a conviction has not been reached in the case.
Who Should Look Out For Themselves: Damien Crosse (left) has moved away from his childhood home Miami's Little Havana, but who knows what danger lurks around the holidays. When we tell this hottie to play safe, we mean it!
