Earlier this month, Playgirl began filming in the historic loft with GRUNTS star Victor Steele who looked every bit as rough and ready as Pacino had over twenty-five years ago. Actually, eerily so. The loft was also the location of Ed Harris's suicide in The Hours (author Michael Cunningham lives across the hall), and in the late 70s served as the home of several BDSM clubs including Jay's Hangout, the Hellfire Club and the Manhole. Nardicio, the public (and quite handsome) face of the DList social network (which, when you're lucky, can be a bit of sex club itself)  frequently rents out the top floor for semi-public parties of his own. "You can still get a faint whiff of poppers in the hallway," says Nardicio. More likely, we suspect, the scent is coming from him. And let's hope that the newly scruffy Steele doesn't get too carried away with the Pacino method acting --  Richard Quest has that role nailed.
