A few years ago, the fates brought us to Lazy Bear Weekend in California's Russian River Valley and we were roundly snubbed. Granted, we'd just lost a good deal of weight and perhaps were considered traitorous, but the hostile glares kept us from going back even though, like, we can be total chasers sometimes.
Luckily, Lavender Lounge was there on our behalf and aside from a brief brush with death (the late Cole Ryder was used on the posters for much of the festivities) and drugs (Weeds star Guillermo Diaz), he brought us back those hair, hefty torsos that have us growling. Maybe it's rising food costs, but the bears are looking a lot slimmer this year ...
