We try to keep up with all the film fests around the globe for the LGBTIQFQQ community, but you know? There are so many! For realz, we've come a long way, guys/gals/others. And there are hundreds if not thousands of small films being made every year to prove just how Everywhere we really are. Here's a top 10 list, which really is in no particular order except that San Francisco's at the top because we live there and it's the center of the gay universe.
1. Frameline: The San Francisco LGBT Film Festival
It happens in June, in the week before Pride, and much like other film fests it gets a little porny.
2. 22 Mix Festival - Milan, Italy
3. Out in Africa: South African Gay Film Fest
4. Melbourne 'Mardi Gras' Film Festival
5. London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival
6. Zinegoak Film Festival - Bilbao, Spain
7. Paris Lesbian & Gay Film Festival
8. Montreal Lesbian & Gay Film Festival
