On two separate occasions, 38-year-old Mohamed Caid picked up an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, drove them to their destinations and raped them. Caid posed illegally as a taxi driver and picked up his victims outside a gay nightclub called Heaven.
I’ve never raped anyone in a car — not yet, anyway — but I imagine that the logistics would be difficult, what with the cramped conditions to all the available door handles.
Caid has been convicted of rape, attempted rape, sexual assault and two counts of false imprisonment, and the judge Most of the commenters on the various news sources carrying this story have zeroed in on the fact that Mohamed is a Muslim, but nobody has noted how it’s interesting that Caid’s victims were gay. If I ever rape a teenager, I’m definitely going with a straight dude.
