A certain Vice President-elect attended “Hamilton” last night … and the entire cast called him out from the stage.
Last night, spurred on by having Mike Pence in the audience, the cast of “Hamilton” turned their curtain call into a PAC with a smackdown to Pence and a clarion call of messaging for the rest of us to unite behind.
It’s going to be a long four years, but last night, the good guys got in the last word and we get to enjoy it all weekend.
As Slate reports, Pence made a request to attend the performance earlier that same afternoon, Seller told the Hollywood Reporter. Rather than reject the request, the show decided to start working on the curtain call speech. “The cast, the creators, we all felt that we must express our feelings to vice president-elect Pence.”

But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of all of us.”
Adds the NY Daily News, “Dixon responded to Trump’s complaints, countering that “conversation is not harassment sir. And I appreciate @mike_pence for stopping to listen.”
