"We broke up over text, so it's like 'peace out'," country singer Carrie Underwood told TV's Extra of her split from gay-vague Gossip Girl man-banger Chace Crawford. The public couple had decided to split because the relationship "just didn't work," according to Underwood, for reasons unspecified yet completely obvious. "They couldn't spend time together," added a source to Us Weekly, "It was hard." Or, more likely, it wasn't.
This news comes as a shot of adrenaline to the loins for ex-NSYNC star
JC Chasez, who recently complained to Los Angeles' 104.7 KISS FM about
not getting to spend enough time with his beloved Chace. "We don't even
get to hang out that much," he lamented when confronted with the rumors
of their bromance. He then went on to call the speculation "a waste of
everybody's time." Whether or not it was Chasez's attitude toward
efficiency that prompted Chace to end the relationship over text
message rather than having an actual conversation has yet to be
determined.
