Because gay ghetto card 'n' gift shoppes need something to stock their seasonal section with at this time of year, a cottage industry for gay holiday cards has emerged. The cards are--how shall we put this--beyond stupid.
Internet retailers like GayPosters.com and Order of St. Nick are hocking the kind of softcore imagery on their Christmas cards that you'd expect on, say, a Herb Ritts poster or porny Valentine's card--some in classy black and white! But really guys? Christmas? Not that we're huge fans of the holiday or anything--and not like the Christmas mood hasn't already been ruined by Lifetime movies and Walmart tramplings--but it's not the first holiday we think of when we hear the words 'sex' and 'penis.'
