Bonnie Sawyer, aka The Country Bumpkin, was one of our favorite drag performers at Aunt Charlie's Lounge.
Unfortunately, a feud with showrunner Vicky 'Liquid Spine" Marlene resulted in the dentally-retarded Bumpkin losing her creative outlet and her source of dollars. So we were extremely glad to see Sawyer back in top form, false teeth and all, at the weekly Charlie Horse drag revue. We feared she might be a little bit to torch-and-sequin for this scat-and-skinny jean crowd at the Cinch, but Sawyer proved she's more than adept at securing those precious greenbacks.
