 In cities all over yesterday, in the aftermath of the Prop 8 decision, trannies took to the streets alongside their out-of-drag brethren to protest the shit out of this unfortunate ruling.
In SF, several Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were arrested for blocking a major intersection along with 175 others.
Charlie Horse hostess and former Miss Trannyshack Anna Conda was quoted yesterday as saying, "FUCK YOU!!! Fuckin Bigotry wins. Burn shit down!"
Below, a few pics from the Prop 8 protests in San Francisco, Chicago and West Hollywood last night, in which drag queens joined the marchers to fight for the right to call their civil unions the same thing that the straights call theirs: miserable.
Anna Conda, Sisters & Gorilla in SF
Here is Anna Conda, along with Sister Mary Timothy of SF, Joe Parenti, and Anna's husband Brett marching last evening up Market Street. Anna is so hopping mad she is organizing a "Take Back the Polk Poop Protest" this Friday in which she is asking marchers to bring a bag of shit labeled with the name of one of the CA Supreme Court justices responsible for yesterdays verdict, which will then be hurled at the courthouse.
