Out actor Robert Gant graces the cover of the latest issue of Instinct magazine to discuss filling the debonair shoes of the archetypal spy hero with feet more accustomed to treading light in loafers. In the new here! Network original movie Kiss Me Deadly, Gant co-stars with ex-Lindsay-Lohan Shannen Doherty as an ex-spy who gets drawn back into the game. Aside from giving a lot of inspirational one-liners about how we should each awaken our "authentic power as an LGBTQ person"
and talking at length about how he hopes to grow into senior citizenship ("we all hope to end up old gay people one day," he says presumptuously), Gant also marvels at how his role as "Agent Jacob Keane" is making strides toward the acceptance of gay action heroes in Hollywood (even though it's airing exclusively on a gay cable network that hardly anybody subscribes to).
Sure, we think Robert's pretty damn hot, we live for Shannen Doherty's trembling lower lip and we appreciate that there's finally an action spy who prefers to go sleeveless, but really we just wanted an excuse to look up shirtless photos of both Gant and some of our favorite James Bonds, so we did!
