Last night at the Regent Showcase Theater in Los Angeles, gay porn snuff-makers Raging Stallion Studios premiered their murder-filled Western epic To the Last Man to much applause and only one drunken interjection by Phil St. John.
Porn premieres aren't exactly common, given that all releases are pretty much straight-to-DVD and no one but us (and Onan the Vulgarian/JC Adams of Gay Porn Times) thinks that gay porn stars deserve the same red-carpet treatment and accolades for their fuck scenes as Brad Pitt gets for his. So excuse us if we take a moment to tell you all about it.
Unzipped Media co-sponsored the screening, and here! networks is considering airing the film's B-roll on their gay cable channel. The screening was planned to be entirely of the B-roll--of which there is over and hour, featuring ambitious videography of the Arizona landscape by Ben Leon and a great many murders--but it also included some surprise moments of hardcore that left industry audience members silent and adjusting their pants.
Guests included Mr. Adams and Mr. St. John, Ken Knox, the always mellifluous Angel Benton (for Unzipped Media), Rentboy's Brandon Baker, and Jeremy Lucido of Starrfucker fame. Star Jake Deckard cancelled at the last minute and thin apologist R.J. Danvers could not attend.
