Michael Lucas is scheduled to speak next week on the Stanford University campus, on Valentine's Day, as a guest of the Associated Students of Stanford University Speakers Bureau. The event will take place at 7 PM in Palo Alto, at the Cubberley Auditorium, and expect Mr. Lucas to venture beyond the subject in which he is most expert to take on some of the weighty issues of our day.
"I appreciate that I am not limited to speak just about pornography
when invited to Stanford or other universities," Lucas said. "Porn is
my main job, but there are other fields in which I became expert and
feel confident and comfortable talking about."
The Stanford talk is not the first trick Lucas has turned in higher education. The Muscovite law-school graduate spoke at a Master's Tea at Yale in 2005 and again at the University as part of a symposium entitled "Sex for Sale" His remarks, "On Gay Porn" were later published in the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism.
