Model Quentin Elias, a.k.a. Q on Randy Blue, Dead of Massive Heart Attack

Model, one-time porn performer, and long-ago French boy-bander Quentin Elias has died at the age of 39. According to several sources, the cause was a massive heart attack.

Elias was born in France to Algerian parents in 1974, though it seems he’d made an effort to change his publicly known birth year to 1980, causing some confusion among the obits that are popping up today.

He did some modeling for Jean Paul Gaultier and Armani and later became a singer in the French boy band Alliage from 1996 to 1999.

More recently, Elias lived in New York and claimed to pals with Madonna, telling a gay rag that he had her cell phone number, and he also had a story about getting into a fight with Diana Ross when they were performing a charity cover of “We Are Family” and pulling the singer’s hair.

Here he is in January in Miami:

In addition to pursuing a solo singing career over the last decade (see his website here) he got into weight lifting and decided to do a calendar and then do two solo porn shoots with Randy Blue in late 2007 under the name Q, the first wearing a mask over his eyes. As he said at the time, “I have done so much in my career, this adult video is one more thing I have done in my career, it came to me at a point in my life when I felt very sexual and felt the need to express myself through sex.” See him jerking off below.

In 2010 he appeared in the documentary The Adonis Chronicles alongside Dakota Rivers and Christopher Saint, and he appeared in a production of “The Boulevard,” a play based on Sunset Boulevard, in a small theater in West Hollywood.

Though he adamantly denied using steroids or any drugs at all, his sudden death at such a young age suggests otherwise and kind of hearkens back to the passing of Erik Rhodes two years ago. But the official statement on Elias’ death has not been released and there’s no further information.

Below, watch him back in the 90s in Alliage singing a cover of Bananarama’s “Cruel Summer” in French. And also see him as he looked in 2008, all bulked up and doing a solo for Randy Blue as Q.

  1. In his defense lets assume it was steroid related. As harsh as it might sound in the gay community pretty dates pretty. I’ve got more straight friends that are open to their options of attractiveness then my gay friends. In the gay male world men want their men with muscles and a big dick, or a twink with a big dick, or a beefy bubble butt so if steroids is the way to get it some men will. We judge yet we set requirements that we only see on pornhub. He should be left to just rest in piece

  2. He was most definitely gay, saw him in West Hollywood all the time with all the gay muscle boys. He really was stunning. A photographer friend of his said Quentin had an existing heart condition he knew about and knew it would cause problems for him later in life. Very sad.

  3. Wow, how unhappy could he have been. If he was gay, very good looking and not able to live life to the fullest. Always trying to look better and it cant happen

  4. OK, we can stop the speculation, guys: Michael Stokes (of Michael Stokes Photography) spoke on his passing and said that Quentin was born with a heart defect. He knew all about it and sadly, knew he wouldn’t live a long life.

It’s heartbreaking, but it’s not controversial in any way.

  5. ” …I felt very sexual and felt the need to express myself through sex “: There are lots of other ways to express ourselves better. Some people like to get a pass to fuckery linking porn with ‘ art ‘. You only need a hand, a dick and a check to ‘ express ‘ yourself in porn.

    1. I think he quite often didn’t tell the truth. He also said his lips were natural but when you compare them to older photos, you can tell he’s had injections. So he obviously was quite unhappy with the way he looked (which I can definitely not understand as I think he was one of the most handsome guys EVER). But a lot of bodybuilders are unhappy with themselves or need to prove something to themselves, which is why they use steroids to become different and better. I know a few bodybuilders and they are all obsessed with what they eat for example. They do not eat like normal people do, for example they eat 10 eggs for breakfast and everything needs to be protein – totally neglecting that the body needs carbohydrates and fat as well. It’s very sad. Hopefully this is a warning sign to other people.

  6. Are you kidding me? I was just listening to “Cassenova” this morning at the gym. I haven’t listened to that in probably over a year. What the hell? Really, this sucks.

Take care of yourself boys. Looking good isn’t worth the damage that roids cause.

  7. OMG, I don’t know what to say. I have always been a fan of Quentin Elias and I still think he is one of the most handsome guys I have ever seen. When seeing his photo here on TheSword I thought maybe he’d done another nude photo shoot (which I would have been quite happy about) but to hear that he has passed away – this is very, very sad. My first thought was also that it was probably due to steroids, so obviously most bodybuilder really underestimate the dangers of steroids. So if anybody is reading this, please stop using them. To Quentin – you will be missed!

  8. Unless he had like a heart defect it was definitely related to steroids I would suspect. Doubt he had Madonna’s cell I am a huge M fan never seen or heard of him with her.

  9. A shame really that he passed away. And his heart attack was either from steroid use, or he might have had a heart irregularity that he never noticed. When exactly did he pass away? he hasn’t posted on any of his social media in almost 7 days, and the last pic of him on IG was him wearing an angel costume.

  10. I watched Adonis Chronicles and yes this guy was hot but totally obsessed with himself and his “hotness”. Sad that it owned him in the end. I guess he succeeded in his attempt to never hit 40 (…and never even realized that it’s a man’s prime). There is great beauty and power in owning who you are instead of walking around with a desperately molded mask on. RIP to another diva-wannabe. Hope you find some solace and self-acceptance on the other side.
