San Francisco Dance Club To Lose Liquor License Because of Pubes

The background: DNA applied to change its liquor license status two years ago in order to become a venue that could host all-ages shows.  The CA alcohol board (ABC) started sending in undercover officers in 2008, and the club claims the officers only ever showed up at gay events, namely a Latino party called Escandalo and Cream, a lesbian dance party.

The lez promoters were allegedly charging boys a higher cover charge to get in (typical), and ABC wrote the club up for discriminatory door policies. But the most damning charges have to do with “running a disorderly house injurious to the public welfare and morals,” and these stem from go-go boys at the Latin party doing what go-go boys do at pretty much any party.

The “lewdness” charges are because there were incidents of dancers at Escandalo pulling their shorts down and exposing their buttocks, and sometimes their pubic hair or genitals. Butt-slapping: that’s also not allowed. Standing behind someone, even while clothed, and doing “several” pelvic thrusts: that’s not mere dirty dancing, that’s a “simulated sex act”. Not allowed.

So, yeah, we call bullshit.  These ABC bitches clearly haven’t been out much lately in San fuckin Frisco.
