It comes as no surprise that as men, we do a lot of thinking with our dicks. So while it comes as a surprise that three English lads have developed the STD-detecting ‘Smart Condom,’ the only surprise is that it look this long.
In today’s Washington Post, they report a trio of techie teens, Daanyaal Ali, 14, Muaz Nawaz, 13, and Chirag Shah, 14, won the top prize in the Health Category of the UK TeenTech Awards with their invention: S.T. EYE.
Their condoms contain a layer of molecules that interact when it encounters the bacteria of common sexually transmitted diseases. And as the The Daily Dot adds, indications for each infection will have a luminescent glow.
Different infections will produce different colors such as syphilis = blue and chlamydia = green. The inventors are seeking to add detection for herpes, gonorrhea “or even HIV.” If there is more than one infection, it is not net known if it will turns into a rainbow of some kind, but as MTV News says, “This is one #aftersex glow that you probably don’t want.”
And now I leave you with a documentary about how all men think with their dicks. It’s called Dick: The Documentary.
