It’s been five months since they teased me with this trailer, and finally the boys of Not Looking return.
The cynical, hilarious L.A.-based web series that succeeds in every way that Looking failed has finally come out with the first episode of their second season, and not only is it twice as long as the first season’s episodes at 10 minutes, it’s also marvelous and terrific.
It’s Danton’s (Drew Droege) birthday, and of course we still don’t know how old he is, but he has a boyfriend! And he remains one of the more perfect elements of the show.
But Parker (Jason Looney), Shane (Jeremy Shane), and Colby (Jason Martindale) are back along with some new supporting characters including Daniel Franzese (from the actual Looking) as Shane’s boyfriend, and Jeffrey Self as a horrible queen named Lee who befriends Parker and will most certainly provide some fresh comedy. Also look for a cameo by Michael Lucid of Pretty Things fame.
