I’m fully aware of an audience in favor of ink; that’s fine. We’re all entitled to our opinion. But I’ve been a consumer of gayporn for long enough to remember when bodies weren’t blemished by it, and muscles gleamed with sweat and hair, and we weren’t distracted by nonsensical placements of skulls and dragons and whatever. People will come back at me and say, “Don’t watch it, then.” Please tell me of a site which doesn’t hire inked models and I’ll join it. Even some of the beautiful Bel Ami boys are starting to fall under its curse. (I have dropped subscriptions because of it, so it does affect the bottom line.) Again, to each their own. Just know there are plenty of us who are not happy with this phenomenon of late. And yes, tattoos have been around for ages, but not to this extent. Just because one can doesn’t mean one should.
There is such a thing as too much distracting ink on a body and unfortunately it’s a thing in gay porn today.
