The GayVN Awards opened up its pre-nomination site for the 2021 all-digital ceremony, and has introduced a new category this year (ooh, what is it?!). Members of the adult industry may take part in the pre-nom process through September 30th.
Last month, Adult Video News announced that the 2021 GayVN Awards, originally scheduled to take place January in Las Vegas, has been changed to an all-digital event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The show will return on Jan. 18, 2021 live on GayVNStars.com (the platform that hosted the virtual Grabby Awards in May, and also hosted a 2020 GayVN Awards Watch Party featuring live appearances and Q&As with some of the winners).
Directors, performers, cinematographers and other industry reps are invited to submit their suggestions (until midnight on September 30) on movies, scenes and performers they deem worthy of recognition at the 2021 GayVN Awards Show. The awards will honor winners in 14 categories judged by a group of industry professionals, and will feature a new category—Best Quarantine Sex Scene—recognizing performers who have “put forth the effort to continue providing content under the singular conditions of COVID-19.”
