At yesterday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, AG Jeff Sessions awkwardly avoided a question about LGBTI discrimination.
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) of Illinois brought up Sessions’s newly penned that guidelines affirm religious rights and could potentially be used for LGBTI discrimination.
“I’ll get back to you,” he said after a four-second pause to one of the Senator’s questions.
That fact that he’s an embarrassment is a lot easier to get over than the power he wields over those of us who aren’t. Ashamed and afraid? me too.
