A Murdered Heart’s Jessy Ares Talks Coming Out

The final episode of A Murdered Heart just dropped! Now we finally get to watch Jessy Ares and his thick 7.5″ cock fuck the living hell out of Johnny Hazzard‘s hole.

A Murdered Heart has already given us hot scenes featuring Angel Rivera, Alexander Savage, Ty Mitchell, Colton Reece and Cade Maddox. The first three episodes focused on three young men forced to participate in a conversion therapy camp. Now we get to find out the secrets of the man running the camp, played by Jessy, and who he’s been discreetly sleeping with.

To celebrate the release of his new scene, we had a quick chat with star Jessy Ares. We talked with him about his long-time friendship with Murdered Heart director Marc MacNamera, his own coming out story, and his feelings on organized religion. Check out the full interview below and be sure to watch his steamy scene over at Naked Sword.

The Sword: You’ve been working with director Marc MacNamera for a long time. What’s your relationship like with him?

Jessy Ares: Marc and I have been working together since almost the beginning of my porn career when I started shooting independent from Titan. We first met while shooting Awake in Greece/Mykonos. Regarding my experience, I see him as one of the few that I consider having excellent work ethic. He is super organized, respectful, fair, humble, helpful, reliable, creative, and has professional characteristics that I value very much and make him a pleasure to work with. In the past, we’ve achieved awards such as the XBIZ and Grabbys, so I give a lot of gratitude for such success to Marc and our work and am happy that our paths have crossed in such a decent way.

Now this is a bit of a throwback, but there is an old video of you and Marc goofing around and giving us some serious Rihanna choreo. Can you give us some behind-the-scenes insight on what started that dance break?

Oh, yes! Caught in the act! (Laughs) I remember when Marc and I did this in Costa Rica while filming for Original Sinners. It’s been a while, but I believe it all started when we were talking about dancing. He had recently started taking dance classes in New York and I used to take dance classes and did show dance for a while. So he showed me the choreo they just worked on to that Rihanna song, step by step. I picked it up and we did it together.

Your scene for A Murdered Heart is about to drop. What was your reaction when you learned about this project and its potentially taboo subject matter?

Marc contacted me for this project while I was relocating to US territory (Puerto Rico) and still going through the aftermath of natural catastrophes and all kinds of authority and system chaos. So I was happy to be given a good chance to work with someone reliable. Learning about the potentially taboo subject matter caught my interest as I remember how hard someone’s coming out can be; coming from a religious background, being able to accept your sexuality, and not losing your faith in a higher source. I believe in spiritual things but dislike the lack of development, forms, and ways of organized religion.

Your character in A Murdered Heart is deeply closeted; which is obviously far different from your real life persona. What was your coming out process like for you personally?

Regarding my military and religious multi-culti background, the coming out process for me during my teenage years was very hard. Nightmares. Panic of gay things. Afraid to speak to anyone about it. I always asked myself how to do the right thing if loving a man was considered a sin, but dishonesty about loving a woman is as well. I decided that love generally can’t be a sin and using a woman and her feelings would be even worse. So I learned to accept my homosexuality by the age of 18 and moved out, trying to make it on my own as I was afraid to confront my family until I was 25. It‘s hard, especially when you find out you don‘t fit in with the gay community in every aspect either. But then again, being Euro-American and always moving around since birth, I am used to never fitting in completely. The process of coming out and developing never stops. Just gotta be you and do your thing!

You’ve said in the past that your family is conservative and Catholic. Has your sexuality affected that relationship at all?

Of course. In the beginning it‘s not an easy thing to deal with for many parents, whether religious, military, or not…. But my family believes in love, conscious decision, and wanting to do what is right rather than blindly following something. They’ve accepted it and have become very helpful regarding my sexuality/love life according to how I deal with it. They also have become more spiritual than religious. I have to say that maybe I have been a bit rough with them in the past to get them to understand and accept certain things and am sorry that I didn‘t take it easier sometimes… Thank God that I have a great relationship with my close family today.

Do you have any experience with conversion therapy or do you know anyone who has had to experience it?

In that form, thank God, no! I can only imagine the mental damage that can cause. It‘s sad that this still legally exists like that!
