Even more surprising, the “difficult” label comes in a rare moment of candor from David Forest himself, via a press release (below) announcing that Jason Adonis has joined Forest’s “Premiere Artists” roster as a hook–I mean–“private meeting” companion.
Congratulations, Jason and David:
Today, JASON ADONIS and DAVID FOREST made it official. David’s “The Premiere Artists” will now handle ALL of the Adonis adult business activities … movies, internet, live appearances and product endorsement. The “MeetTheXXXStars” connections bureau will take care of Jason’s private meetings. Forest and Adonis have worked together, off and on, for many years. Forest has booked some of Jason’s LIVE appearances and private meetings … he set up Jason’s Falcon Studios exclusive deal. But, now, both sides are happy … there IS a contract.

Adonis will continue to live in the Midwest … but he’s got his eye out if he sees something nice in the L.A. area. Adonis, who is nearly 30 and Forest, who has passed 60, both feel the same about the Adonis adult career. It’s long overdue to hit the expressway and they’re both going to do what they can to relax and have people WANT to work with them. Both have been difficult in previous dealings. But, they know that it’s the easy-going attitude that works best.
I’m sure this will all work out great!

Adonis is a notorious flake; he’s ruined a couple of shoots for Jet Set, including his most recent comeback. Just ask Chris Steele; it was written about on THESWORD. At one point, Adonis was taken to court for breach of contract by not completing porn work he had signed up for.
David Forest is notoriously exorbitant in his demands. Forest also reneged on his pledge to retire from the agency business after he sold his company to FabScout. Retirement and rehab may have been just a ruse for the courts.
Why would anyone choose to associate with David Forest in the first place? As soon as I learn a guy is involved with DF I lose all interst in them and any projects they are affiliated.

David Forest asked Brent Corrigan not to issue a press release in the last month when Brent made a rightful decision to sever ties with him. Doesn’t seem fair considering Forest promoted their work together to the hilt. Brent probably just wants it all to go away and doesn’t want to deal with Forest’s wrath. I heard the last straw was Forest’s failure to finalize a hosting gig in Toronto that contracts had already been signed for.
I guess it’s still a mystery where old elephants go off to die but it’s easy-peasy to see where old pornstars go off to do it, or “who with” I should say.
