Arkansas Frat Boys Make Shirtless Katy Perry Video In the Snow

What is it about straight boys doing dumb shit together without their shirts on, and specifically lip syncing badly to female artists, that gets me every time?

Of course there’s the possibility of a closeted homo among them, but the frat bros of Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of Arkansas have done a no-homo video to Katy Perry’s “Roar” following a freak snowstorm at the Fayetteville campus. Classes were canceled, and some of the boys decided to use the free day to rip their shirts off, play in the snow, and do some lip syncing, knowing that the combination of shirtless men and half-assed lip syncing to pop music has been a winning combo for gays and straights (and soldiers stationed in Afghanistan) alike on YouTube. This video’s creeping up on 200,000 views.

They look like some fun dudes. And that one in the red belt making the snow angel can do whatever he wants to me. I feel bad for the pudgy pledge near the end though.

And just to refresh your memory, these bros were actually copying some other (arguably hotter) University of Arkansas frat bros who made a video to Katy Perry’s “Firework” during a snow day back in 2011. That one eventually racked up 1.7 million views.
