In a new book, The Nude Male: 21st Century Visions (Rizzoli), Leddick returns to his favorite fleshy subject, but features photos solely from contemporary artists working in the last 8 years, including David Hockney, Sam Taylor-Wood, Clive Barker, Tom Bianchi, Nan Goldin, Bruce La Bruce, Duane Michals, Mikel Marton and Russian art-world hottie Slava Mogutin (for whom Torso of the Week Brian Kenny serves as both boyfriend and sometime model.)
We’re especially fans of Slava’s dirty aesthetic (below, two NSFW images at right), as well as the prettier, porny, sometimes adrogynous fashion-mag look of Mikel Marton’s portraits (see the two NSFW and, ahem, well-hung self-portraits in the second row below, as well as the girlish sailor boy). But if this isn’t enough, and you want to dig in to this best-of collection of pretty much every gay photographer alive, click the Amazon box to buy the whole book.
