“It started off plain, as a Grindr conversation,” explained Austin when questioned about the infamous mile-high hookup by host Marc MacNamara. “We got on the plane and it started off as we’ll hook up after we land… And one thing led to another. I think I said, ‘It’d be more fun if it were on the plane. Ha-ha.’ You know, half kidding. I would have never expected – and he goes, ‘Oh, I can make that happen.'”

He explained to the man that everything they did would be filmed and after that, the other active flight attendants on board were charged with watching the bathroom door and later telling them when it was safe to come out. “I do believe the young man lost his job, sadly,” said Austin on the aftermath of his video. “And once Delta had a conversation with me and a mild conversation with my lawyer, they reinstated my flight status, because they did cut it off for a while.”

Is it me, or has anyone else picked up on the fact that the other flight attendants were in on it as well. I do not care, nor do I think it important, that the episode was put on video and then “leaked,” or whatever. Nope, for me the issue is that the job, the role, the DUTY of an FA is to look after the safety and transport of the passengers. Period, full stop.
