No, we’re talking “party” as in “political party.” Conservative Australian politicians have introduced prudish legislation calling for a mandatory nationwide firewall on hardcore internet sites. But one woman, who goes by the porn-friendly name of Fiona Patten, is pissed. Fiona heads up an adult lobbying group called the Eros Association, and she’s founding a political party.

It’s called the Australian Sex Party. Fiona figures, “If we can’t beat them, join them.” She wants to take on the conservative establishment by organizing around legislation that is “serious about sex.” Good luck with that, Fiona, you little slut. No word yet on whether she’ll tap Jai’me for VP.

Anyway, we’re going back to watching the gay Aussie surfers, thanks.
