At the final curtain for the long-running Grabby Awards, it was a memorable night for NakedSword’s hit The Slutty Professor, the CockyBoys smash All Saints and a diverse crowd of fan favorite performers.
Four months after picking up the Best Supporting Actor and Best Threesome trophies at the 2019 GayVN Awards, The Slutty Professor duplicated the feat this past weekend at the Grabby Awards in Chicago—and added a third win (for Best Editing), making it one of the big winners of the night.
Meanwhile, Michael Roman shared Performer of the Year accolades with Calvin Banks:

Bruce Beckham was honored as Best Supporting Actor for The Slutty Professor, while the trio of Ace Era, Tyler Roberts and the late Dave Slick won for Best Threesome. Jessie Garcia won the editing honor to complete the impressive haul for the NakedSword Originals feature co-directed by mr. Pam and Chi Chi LaRue.
Beckham wasn’t done however, also winning Best Duo with Damien Stone for their Stranded scene with Men.com.
Beckham—who is arguably having the most successful year spanning his 15-year career—quickly took to social media to share his thanks (further humbled with the second win of the night):

Max Konnor and Armond Rizzo had won Best Duo at the GayVN Awards. While they didn’t repeat here, they were both winners: Konnor for Hottest Cock (an honor he shared with fellow hung bud Boomer Banks), and Rizzo for Hottest Bottom.
Wesley Woods—another performer having a hell of a year—added more hardware to his haul, repeating his GayVN win for Best Actor in Falcon’s Zack & Jack Make a Porno.

Alam Wernik, who also appeared in Zack & Jack (and appears in the current NakedSword two-part blockbuster Five Brothers: Family Values) also repeated his Best Newcomer win (having won the GayVN in January), sharing the Grabby honor with Max Adonis (long overdue for some accolades!).

Adonis appeared in NakedSword’s Nob Hill last year, a film that won the Hottest Flip award for its memorable climax—the live sex show threeway (featuring some double penetration) with Jessie Colter, Max Duro and Adam Killian, filmed to celebrate the closing of the iconic theatre after 50 years.
Another NakedSword hit—The Last Rose, a co-production with BelAmi—won mr. Pam and Leo Forte the Best Videography trophy.
Cade Maddox was named Hottest Top after his monster year, while some of his hung peers also picked up hardware: Rocco Steele was named Squirt.org Fan Favorite; Pheonix Fellington was named Best Versatile Performer (see that talent on display in his threesome for Raging Stallion’s Hit It Then Quit It); DeAngelo Jackson won Hottest Body; and Griffin Barrows was named Justfor.fans Fan Favorite.
CockyBoys also had a huge night, with it’s All Saints picking up wins for Best Director Movie/Web Series for Jake Jaxson, along with Best Screenplay. All Saints won Best Feature at the GayVN Awards this year, but the honor for Best Movie or Web Series went to Helix’s Vegas Nights, which also won Best Group for its seven-man orgy (including Joey Mills, who also won Best Twink Performer).
Noir Male also had a good night, winning Hottest Rimming for “The Photo Shoot” threeway featuring Beaux Banks, Trey Donovan and Trent King; and Best Director All Sex, as Chi Chi LaRue was honored for Black On White.
The Best All Sex Movie, meanwhile, went to Lucas Entertainment’s Zapped, Drilled and Fucked—which features Falcon Studios Group exclusive Devin Franco getting his hole worked over in two hot scenes.
Other winners included Men.com’s Spiderman – A Gay XXX Parody for the Steamworks Fan Favorite Movie; Sam Brighton as Best Still Photographer; and JustFor.fans as Best Web Original Content. The Wall of Fame inductees were Johnny V, Ryan Rose, mr. Pam, Adam Killian and David Arias.
It was sadly the final Grabby Awards ever, following the recent passing of Mark Nagel (co-owner of Grab magazine), who was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The first iteration of the Grabby Awards was in 1991, with the first ceremony coming in 1999. The current version goes back to 2009, when Nagel and former Gay Chicago publisher Stacy Bridges took over—and added fan awards to the proceedings.
