Big Time Trouble For Gay Porn Star Tyce Jax

Gay porn in 2017 is off a pretty hot start. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Tyce Jax. He’s cooling off in jail for domestic battery … again.

Tyce Jax is one of those: a gay porn performer who is making more headlines for his off-screen behavior than anything he did on the blue screen.

Tyce was already on probation for beating, choking and pulling a knife on his partner Bobby Hamill in their duplex in Atlanta last November. According to ProjectQ, he’s been at it again.

Tyce, real name Jared Louis Velazquez, 31, was arrested Nov. 25 after allegedly attacking for hitting Hamill several times, threw him to the ground and threatened him with a knife after catching him watching gay porn on his iPad.

Especially when one partner’s day job is having sex with others for money, being able to block that all out at night can be problematic. When there are anger issues involved, as is the case here, the outcome can be disastrous.

At the time of his arrest, Velazquez was serving a three-year probation sentence for assaulting Hamill in November 2015 and attacking a former boyfriend in a Midtown apartment in June 2014. Besides his three arrests in Atlanta for domestic violence, Velazquez was arrested three times in less than a year on domestic violence charges in Jacksonville, Fla., where he once lived. Those charges were later dropped and the cases closed.

Tyce spent two days in Fulton County Jail before being released on $5,000 bond. Already in violation of his probation, if found guilty this time, he’s facing up to 20 years in prison.

This is so very sad on so many levels. But it does highlight a truth that should be part of every relationship regardless of the genders and professions involved: you don’t have the right to put your hands in anger on another person nor do they have the right to do that for you. Period.
