Canadian Transgender Model Jenna Talackova Allowed To Compete In Miss Universe Pageant

Oh. I see GLAAD is taking credit for this one. Great. It’s nice that someone went through all the trouble of having a sex change so she could live a meaningful life and be who she truly is on the inside…so she could in turn compete in something as meaningful as a Miss Universe beauty pageant, where it’s all about what’s on the inside. Also, it’s nice that a transgendered woman is allowed to compete in a Miss Universe Pageant, but if you’re a fat or ugly “regular” woman, sorry. What about a fat, ugly transgendered woman? Would GLAAD have stuck up for her?

  1. LOL @ZACH. I know you want to show that you’re a “sharp bitch,” but it really doesn’t work. Sorry. You try so hard that your thought process ends up being like that of Rick Santorum with an extremely gay twist.

“Great. It’s nice that someone went through all the trouble of having a sex change so she could live a meaningful life and be who she truly is on the inside…so she could in turn compete in something as meaningful as a Miss Universe beauty pageant, where it’s all about what’s on the inside.”

This coming from someone who continues to bitch about not winning anything for his “blog.” How quaint. It may be a shocker to you but you actually don’t have telepathy so I doubt that you can know exactly who this girl is inside and what it would take to be THAT person. But of course, I know how much you love to exploit “hypocrisy.” You know what they say about thieves hating on their fellow thieves, right? If not, I’m sure you’re sharp enough to figure that one out.

“Also, it’s nice that a transgendered woman is allowed to compete in a Miss Universe Pageant, but if you’re a fat or ugly “regular” woman, sorry. What about a fat, ugly transgendered woman? Would GLAAD have stuck up for her?”

TYPICAL REDNECK LOGIC. I’m sure that you can look this good without even trying hard because it really doesn’t take any discipline and hard work to be of the ideal form for a beauty pageant. In fact, ALL women who are within not fit enough to join beauty pageants are really just unfortunate women who weren’t blessed with enough discipline to try and lose weight, take care of their skin tone, etc. Those poor victims.

LOL. Such a thought process can only come from someone who hates being ugly, in his or her own perception, but is too afraid or lazy to do anything about it. I love how you justify your right to avoid hard work.

Also, since we have mentioned that, it also doesn’t take much knowledge to be eloquent, right? I mean… look at you and your “big boy blog.” I mean, with this kind of communication skill, WHY AREN’T YOU COMPETING IN THE MISS UNIVERSE?

“Would GLAAD have stuck up for her?”

Whether or not they do, you’ll find a reason to bitch about it anyway. I wouldn’t be surprised if you just repeat everything that I said about working hard for your looks if GLAAD does decide to one day back what you call “a fat, ugly transgendered woman.”

    Pfft. Owned.

    1. Game sees you. Game recognizes nothing. Your carpet-bombing of this article with cray-cray posts impresses no one. Just stop.

  2. No matter how much surgery this contestant has had, genetically she is a man. And she is competing with genetic women. Something does not sync completely.

    1. Of course it doesn’t sync if you haven’t read the rules. There was nothing in the by laws of the Miss Universe that state that you have to be “born a woman,” “originally be a woman” or “genetically a woman” in order to compete. It simply says woman. And as we know, as far as gender identity is concerned, who really is the better judge other than the one being judged?

  3. I have mixed feelings on this issue. I always believed until now that plastic surgery was not allowed for pageant contestants. Now I find out that it is acceptable, but not preferred. Personally I think that allowing Jenna to compete is somewhat a disadvantage to those contestants that choose not to alter their bodies in any way. Her participation in the competition further increases the idea that body-altering surgery of any kind is a necessity to be successful in today’s society.

    1. Do we know how much her body has been altered? Breast implants, bleached/dyed hair, waxed legs, teeth whitening, etc. Beauty pageant contestants do that stuff already. Of course, there are the hormones, but couldn’t natural-born females take those as well? I dunno…

      1. Not sure what he has done to his body but it’s clear that the face has had a lot of work done. No chance in hell that slim and perfect nose was the one he was born with.

        1. It’s she now. There are plenty of men who have quite feminine faces without plastic surgery. Check out Andrej Pejic. Or the lead singer from Tokio Hotel.

  4. On one hand, I’m glad Jenna is able to live out her dreams of being a pageant queen. On the other hand, when we live in a world where trans people are walking targets for violence and humiliation, just for trying to live their lives like everyone else — THIS is the issue the media’s most visible LGBT organization is championing?

    Really, GLAAD?

    1. Just because it’s the only issue publicized as of late, are we really going to think that this is the only issue being tackled? Really, Asenath? Really?
