Live, right now, in upstate New York, CockyBoys founder Jake Jaxson, GoGo Harder, RJ Sebastian, and Benny Morecock are doing a panel discussion in front of a lecture hall at Vassar College. Jaxson talks about the direction he’s taking porn, and he and Benny talk some more about their throuple with Adrian.
The live stream is still on, below. We don’t actually know if this connected to a specific class at Vassar, or what.
Jaxson speaks about their recent foray into erotic docs, like Fuck Yeah Levi Karter, and he admits that fans have said that they’ve both laughed and broke down crying while watching this new genre of porn. “I like to think about these guys getting ready to jerk off, getting their lube ready and everything, and they turn this thing on and it’s just [boo hoo].”
Jaxson cracks a few jokes. “I used to be in the ‘mainstream entertainment industry.’ I mean, I practically produced porn… I worked on The Andy Dick Show.” He also reveals that a pilot he had ready for production at Showtime, set in New Orleans, got scrapped right after Hurricane Katrina, which ultimately led to him starting CockyBoys because it allowed him to have creative autonomy and get something done. As CockyBoys fans know well, Jaxson’s stuff definitely looks like the work of a frustrated artist, but he’s arguing that what he’s making is, now, a mainstream form of art. And did you now CockyBoys has shit tons of female fans? They do.
He also talks about being outed with his real name, via the NY Daily News, via his previous connection to journalist Glen Greenwald who broke the story about the NSA scandal over the summer.
