Cold War Spoof Ad for San Francisco’s Prop R

This is a funny little video made by the proponents of Prop R, which spoofs the famed “Daisy” ad that dates back to the 1964 Presidential campaign (the older among you may remember), made by Lyndon Johnson’s campaign and featuring a little girl plucking flower petals set against a nuclear countdown.

Obviously, the people behind Prop R (who we reported on when they were still collecting signatures) know that their issue isn’t exactly of fundamental importance to the voters this election, but they remain impish and light-hearted in their quest to best the rest of the nation in honoring our 43rd President with a tribute commensurate with his eight years in office.

So yes, for the record, because we know you care: we completely endorse Prop R.
