Did you know that a Real Housewives of New York legend was once a Playgirl model? Featured on one of two covers for the May 1990 edition of the legendary magazine, RHONY favorite Luann de Lesseps can be seen putting her hands all over the shirtless torso of one of the sexiest daddy cowboys we’ve ever seen.
Hardcore RHONY may recognize this cover from when it was brought up during a season three episode of the Bravo show, but more may know it now thanks to a recent interview on the Discretion Advised podcast. During a recent episode of the Falcon | NakedSword podcast, hosts John Hill and Marc MacNamara had a conversation with the reality star about her Playgirl appearance where she got very candid about the cover, how she used to feel shame about it, and how she’s now a proud covergirl.
“It’s funny, cause I was a model in the early 90s in New York and I went on a casting call and I got the cover of Playgirl,” revealed Luann about her work with the publication. “It was just random. At the time, I was dating Keith Hernandez and I didn’t really want people to know about it I guess, so I didn’t really talk about it. Looking back, I love the cover. I think it’s so hot.”
John then joked about Luann coming up behind the cowboy, also known as model Todd Brown, and wrapping herself around him like she’s Janet Jackson. It’s then that a very playful Luann revealed that she just “had to give that cowboy a little squeeze!”
Following the release of this podcast interview, Luann took to Instagram to share the cowboy-lovin’ cover of Playgirl and along with the caption “I just love a man in uniform! Don’t you?” (And in case you’re wondering, Luann – the answer is yes. We’re always fucking horny for a man in uniform!)
