If you subscribe to any porn content creators, you’re familiar with the idea of the pay-per-view (PPV) model. If not, it’s exclusive content locked behind a paywall that requires a payment in addition to your subscription cost. Some performers embrace it, while others refuse to incorporate it or use a hybrid model. The Way to a Man’s Heart actor Crush Daddy announced that he will no longer incorporate PPV content.
“No more pay-per-view videos for Crush Daddy,” the tatted stud said via an Instagram video.
“I’ve decided against it. I did it for about a year, and the reason I did it is just, I was kind of following what everybody else was doing.”
Crush Daddy explained that he hates the PPV model when it comes to his experiences as a subscriber. Now that he has the power from the other end of that relationship, he wants to make a change. The performer previously utilized a hybrid model: “I only did pay-per-view as a pre-sale. So, eventually everything is on my wall, but I’ll just be honest – pay-per-view … is not something I like doing.”
Crush Daddy made a smart comparison to a Netflix subscription: “I don’t pay per movie that I wanna watch. I don’t pay to get a movie early either. I just pay the subscription, and I get all the content.”
He noted that he will “lose some money doing this, for sure.” However, the creator is doing this for a better fan experience.
“I’d rather focus on increasing my subscriber count, rather than increasing my PPV sales,” Crush Daddy said. “So, we’ll see how this goes [laughs]. I hope I don’t regret it, but I think in the long term I won’t. From now on, if you wanna subscribe to any of my stuff, know that there is no pay-per-view past the subscription.”

How do you feel about the PPV model? Do you enjoy having the option to pay more for more premium access, or do you agree with Crush Daddy? Let us know in the comments!
Thank You Crush Daddy! I hate the ones who make it so you can’t even see how long their videos are. So you take a chance and subscribe only to find they have 99% of their videos being under a minute. , or anything longer is PPV.
I like the way Mattoffthetrail does his OF—it’s not cheap ($14.99) but I get lots of quality videos and stills. He charges reasonable rates for collabs as PPV. I don’t feel at all short changed. But I do love his PPV!!!
Are you insane?? MattOffTheTrail is a total rip-off. You pay $14.99 to have the opportunity to BUY his videos. All his vids are over-produced.. and they all look the same. Talk about EGO. To charge that much and every vid is PPV. There is so much better content that is NOT PPV. Anyhow… if you can afford it… knock yourself out!!
