As I reported yesterday, Diesel fired his agent David Forest following his appearance at the Forest-produced “Cocktails In The Forest” at Micky’s. Well, it’s two slow news days in a row, so here’s David Forest’s response!
Come on folks…this is so silly. I’m being fired after giving Diesel a great L.A. debut. Only flaw was him being late to arrive at Micky’s and not communicating with us about his whereabouts. I mentioned that in a “wrap up” memo about the night. He hated me talking about it. AND, there’s been NO offers or interest from any clubs or studios …so, he just decided to fire me. When I signed Washington I told him I could put him on the opening night of my “Cocktails in the Forest” series, Sept. 2 at Micky’s. I made it crystal clear that, unfortunately, he’d have to provide his own transp to LA, his own ground transp. to Micky’s, his own lodging, etc. He absolutely wanted to do the appearance. It was a great way to show off in L.A., where he hadn’t appeared. He knew that there were NOT any club dates available in the So.Calif. area…nor San Diego or elsewhere on the West Coast. The Micky’s gig IS a major deal when it’s promoted like I’ve done. I expressly asked Diesel to phone me when he arrived in L.A….which he didn’t. He was also told, in writing, that his “report time” was 7:45pm. My production man phoned him about 7:30, since we hadn’t heard anything from him. He told us that he WOULD be there by 7:45pm. He showed up at 8:15pm. We were running early, so we were really ready for him at 8:00pm. We put him on at 8:20pm and he did great. I told Micky’s that the NO COMP DRINKS policy was going to come back to hurt them. But, it’s just not my place to tell them how to run their bar.
I’m not going to get into a pissing war with Diesel. He said he would be on time. I trusted him. He goofed up. I called him on it. To put a spin on things…”he fired me”… Oh well . There wasn’t any demand for him (clubs, privates, studios). Then, he messed up the pacing of my 1st Cocktails. Sorry, just doesn’t work for me.
You know what doesn’t work for me? NO FREE DRINKS. What kind of bar doesn’t offer its stars complimentary adult beverages when it’s those very stars who are bringing in all the fans–who are spending money at the bar!? I’m outraged. And apparently an alcoholic.
Meanwhile, Diesel Washington and David Forest can settle their differences on Naked Kombat (could be hot), because I have got to go.
P.S. The second of five special “Cocktails” events is tomorrow (Thursday), featuring Jason Adonis, Cody Cash, Johnny Castle, and Dempsey Stearns. Who will fire David Forest after tomorrow night!? Stay tuned.
David Forest is as washed up as the talent that he promotes. And his response above is full of contradictions and BS. Lets see:

-“I told Micky’s that the NO COMP DRINKS policy was going to come back to hurt them.” So not only is Micky’s cheap, so is David Forest. The agent, manager, handler, with over 30 years experience in the business can’t buy his client a couple drinks? Not only is it cheap, it just bad manners.
David Forest is just a grifter. Any porn star that signs up with him has to be beyond desperate.
If they both left the business tomorrow……………..
they would go out with a fizzle. Cause one bitches and moans and thinks he is gods gift to everyone and the other well he is a loser to. Hey I guess either one applies to both. DW retires often, pats himself on the back more then anyone in the business, brags about his new positions (who gives 2 shits), talks about how no one will bottom for him (when was the last time you did that on screen) says he is underpaid, blah blah. And DF signs losers who spend more time in jail then they do on film and writes lame comebacks to a guy who is not even worth it. They can both leave the industry and no one will lose any sleep. Real guys don’t have to sit there and announce to the world how good they are, how popular they claim to be yadda yadda they would let the work speak for itself.
That is cheap of Mickey’s. Offering your guests/talent drinks on the house tends to loosen them up and make for a more exciting lively show as well. It’s not like they can’t afford to at least pour some cheap ass well Vodka cocktails.
I do not like David Forest. At all. Nor am I a Diesel Washington fan. However, I must say, I don’t believe I have EVER been to any sort of gay bar/club event featuring porn stars or strippers or whatever that started on time (how many of use have waited an hour or longer for something to start?), so I’m kind of appreciating Forest’s stance on this.
This is the most unexciting pimp/hooker fight I have ever seen. You know Diesel, a lot of straight porn studios are doing parodies of films and tv shows, perhaps you could do a gay porn parody of Madea’s Family Reunion with you playing Madea of course.
I guess there was enough demand for Forest to book Washington a non-paying gig. Exactly, what do agents do?
Rio Silver needs an agent and an appearance in LA. Other than calling in dead he’s pretty reliable.
Any talent agent worth his fee would already know the value and demand of a seasoned adult entertainer such as Diesel Washington before even bringing him on-board. But then again, you’re talking about David Forest here.
And Diesel Washington you’re as much to blame here as anyone. according to you, EVERYBODY told you not to go with Forest because hey would not work through him. But you did anyway. That seems pretty stoopid to me.
God Damn what THE HELL does a drink at Mickey’s cost!? Sounds like you have to take out a loan from the whining.

There was no demand for Me, because YOU were my agent!!! I was told time after time nobody would hire me because nobody wanted to DEAL with you David!! And that is the truth!! Everybody I contacted said sorry Diesel I would give you a role but I refuse to be associated with David Forest!! So you can go ahead and say there was no demand!! Put ur spin to it I don’t care!!! I just glad to be done with you!!!
