Derek Kage achieved a lot over his relatively short time in the gay porn industry, and he’s only just begun. Of course, he has his fan site content, but he also keeps up a steady flow of impressive studio work that ranges from Raging Stallion’s award-winning Overdrive to the rough group sex in Double Wide. However, Derek mentioned an instance where he stood up for his scene partner and refused to perform a specific act.
Derek was a guest alongside the sexy Ross Hurston on the Discretion Advised podcast. Co-host Marc MacNamara asked if he was ever asked to do something he didn’t want to do. Derek immediately thought of a specific scenario.
He didn’t name the studio or director but said, “You can kind of get an idea of what studio this is.”
“They were going to do a rope suspension,” Derek stated. “They wanted to kind of do like a hanging suspension (motions hanging by the neck).”
He continued: “I was the dom in this situation, so I was looking at my sub, and I kind of was like, ‘Are you okay with that? Do you want to do that?’ They didn’t say anything. They didn’t respond. In my mind, that was a ‘no.’ So, I stood up for my sub and I basically told the director, ‘No, we’re not doing that.’”

It is great to know you take care of your scene partner, well done. Makes me love you more.
