Two Die In ‘Suspicious’ Bathhouse Fire

When the fire broke out at 7 a.m. on the second floor of the Aquarius Bath House, one man died on the scene and another was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. One of the deceased is Steven Yablonski, a Pizza Hut employee in his early 20s who was popular around town for his performances as a drag queen named Kerri O’Kee.

Canadian locals have created a Facebook page in Steven’s memory, and many are planning to gather in front of the bathhouse tonight at 8 p.m. for a candle-light vigil.

“The fire is being considered suspicious in nature,” police said. “The cause of the fire is still under investigation.” Some patrons have suggested that an errant cigarette started the fire, but I think that God was punishing the 12,000 square foot, three story facility for serving heterosexuals at its co-ed parties four nights a week.
