Last month, DeVayne was hospitalized for possible kidney failure. DeVayne revealed in their Instagram stories at the time that they were undergoing three hours of dialysis “to see if they can get my kidneys back functioning.”

DeVayne’s Drag Race family and fans have spent the last month sending their love to the season eight and All Stars season 3 queen on social media. Many were sharing graphics that included DeVayne’s Venmo username so fans could donate to their medical costs. All Stars winner Shea Couleé was even donating 100% of the proceeds of one of their prints to DeVayne.

Fans are now remembering the icon on social media for their legendary performances on and off of the Drag Race stage. DeVayne competed in season 8 of Drag Race and season four of Drag Race All Stars. On the show, they are probably best known for their lipsync of And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going. The performance is widely regarded as one of the best in the show’s history.
