Coming out to is always a terrifying experience and doing it twice just seems like a truly impossible task, but that’s exactly what Falcon | NakedSword Exclusive Drew Valentino had to go through when he decided to tell his family about his porn career earlier this year. Lucky for everyone involved though, Drew has revealed through multiple social media posts that his parents are extremely supportive of his career and even went as far as to create some custom apparel to celebrate him.
“Earlier this year I decided to come out to my family ….again. Although this time about being in the adult movie industry,” wrote the acclaimed performer on Instagram. “HUGE relief to find that my entire family supportive and even excited for me. I flew home for Father Day’s and my dad was wearing this shirt.”
The shirt in question is a blue T-shirt that features a white box that reads “PROUD PARENT OF A PORN STAR”. Drew’s dad can be seen wearing the standout shirt in multiple photos posted by the star.
After seeing Drew’s post about this iconic shirt, we reached out to the Falcon | NakedSword Exclusive to ask him about this coming out process. In a candid response, the Bred & Breakfast actor explained to us why it was so important to be as honest as possible with his family and just how nervous he was to do it.
“First of all, starting porn was an interesting choice because I have a huge family that’s all very close. But I never knew things would pick up the way that they did,” said Drew. “So as my career accelerated, I started to feel more and more guilty when I thought about my family. I started to realize that I felt this way, not because what I am doing is wrong or unhealthy, but because I was keeping it a secret. Lying was the only part that was wrong or unhealthy.”
Drew originally came out as gay to his dad over a decade ago when he was 24 years old. The NakedSword performer says he was “so terrified” that he was “literally shaking” as he told his father, but fortunately his dad responded to his coming out by saying, “I don’t care about who you love. You are my son and that will always come first.”
“A few days before I told him about the porn, I had an equally difficult and procrastinated conversation with him about how much I appreciate him as a father and how much his words on that day impacted the rest of my life,” said Drew. “So it was like I dropped two bombs on them in one visit and then darted.”
Drew came out to his family about his porn career in March and had not seen them again until this last Father’s Day weekend. During the holiday weekend, Drew was able to see his entire extended family and says they were all very supportive of him and excited for his next chapter in life – as evidenced by his dad’s custom apparel.
“Deep down inside, I knew my entire family would support me because they’ve been supportive my entire life,” said Drew. “And I’ve been through some shit.”

At least this guy’s out there making (hopefully) good money and is smart and saving a large part of his earnings for the future and not sitting home on his ass collecting welfare. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Here in San Francisco there’re so many lazy and able to work deadbeats sucking on the taxpayers tit for handouts that’re for the most part lazy leeches who think others should support them. This is statewide all over California, sad to say. Hopefully this is the road to better and bigger things as porn stars sadly are hot one day and cold the next.
I have respect for sex workers as they’re able to do something I absolutly couldn’t. That being said, would I be proud or happy to know that my son can take two dicks in his ass and that it’s out there for the world to see?
