Everywhere You Need To Be GayVN/Folsom Weekend

Here is your handy guide to the debaucherous long weekend that you will never forget. Or remember.

–Thursday is the official GayVN pre-party (it’s actually pre-parties), “Prison Break,” presented by NakedSword and Manhunt, and benefiting the Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence. It starts with a beer bust and food (if you eat in public–I don’t) at 6pm at The Eagle (398 12th Street), and from there it’ll be a slutty maze of porn stars, leather daddies, and drunk nuns running amok in San Francisco’s seedy (but sexy!) South of Market district. Every gay porn studio (well, almost every one) is sponsoring a bar and unloading their models throughout the neighborhood, including: Hot House at Lone Star, Raging Stallion at Chaps, Cocky Boys at Club 8, Next Door Studios, Falcon, and Colt at The End Up, Manhunt at Powerhouse, and World Of Men at Truck. Go to The Eagle first to get a map and a stamp card, then get your card stamped at every bar for a free prize at the NakedSword booth at Folsom at Sunday. I don’t know what the prize is, but it will probably be porn related?

–Friday, September 24, it’s the GayVNs at the Castro Theatre. Red carpet is at 7pm, ceremony is at 8pm. Tickets are now $50 and can be purchased at the venue, or at locations throughout the city (Gold’s Gym (SOMA), Does Your Mother Know, Mr. S Leather). Alec Mapa hosts, and a lot of the nominees are known for public meltdowns, so do come.

–Right after the show, get your drunk ass in a cab and come to the official GayVN NakedSword afterparty, “Lockdown.”

Like last year, this party will sell out. Buy your tickets ahead of time here. The VIP area only holds 300 people (which barely covers the nominees), so don’t make a scene if you’re not on the VIP list, please. I had to promise/threaten sexual favors to the person organizing the list just to get a +1, and I work for the company throwing the party. Just kidding. (No I’m not.) DJ Chi Chi LaRue will be spinning! Drunk/half-naked porn stars! Free vodka (in the VIP room only, ha ha)! It’s the only place to be on Friday night. Beginning at 10pm at Club NV (525 Howard Street).

–Saturday, it’s the Raging Stallion “Man of the Year” party. Outgoing MOTY Austin Wilde will be there to pass the torch to a new Raging Stallion performer (I’m guessing it’ll be D.O.). Starts at 9pm, at Suite 181 (181 Eddy Street) and it’s open to the public.

Other parties on Saturday include more Chi Chi (along with all her porn star pals) DJ’ing at Poppers at Lookout (16th & Market), Big Top Leather and Lace Ball at Club Eight (1151 Folsom Street), NakedSword-sponsored “Industry” at Mighty (119 Utah St) at 10pm, and the official Folsom dance party, “Magnitude,” at 525 Harrison.

–I’m dead at this point. But who says a dead person can’t go to the Folsom Street Fair? It’s on Sunday, and the NakedSword booth will feature over 20 Raging Stallion porn stars including Race Cooper, Chris Porter, Tony Aziz, Kennedy Carter, Dominic Pacifico, Wilfried Knight, Cole Streets, Logan McCree, Alexander Freitas, Francesco D’Macho, Damien Crosse, Antonio Biaggi, Morgan Black, Conner Habib, Rusty Stevens, D.O., Steve Cruz, Bruno Bond, Mathieu Paris, Remy Delaine, Angelo Marconi, Aybars, Heath Jordan, and Tommy Defendi. TheSword will be taking pictures of you and your favorite porn stars and then posting them on the internet.
