Put down the lube for a second because we’ve got a couple of fun music vids for you. First we have a song that redefines “sochi” as “a delightful anus.” And then there’s the new “Helen Keller” video from Cazwell and Manila Luzon.
This first one, “Sochi 2014,” is from the group Potpourri of Pearls, and it features Justin Vivian Bond doing a sort of rap bit, as well as someone named Turkey Pig. Oh, and lots of animated puckered buttholes.
If you’re interested, the band has an album out on Feb. 11.
Next, we have gay artist Cazwell’s latest, “Helen Keller,” directed by Leo Herrera and featuring the vocal stylings of Drag Race runner-up Manila Luzon. As Cazwell explains, the title isn’t supposed to be offensive to blind people or anything. It’s just a play on a phrase he often heard in the New York drag world when queens would say, “I don’t see her,” meaning that she doesn’t feel another queen’s look. It evolved into a verb, as in “I Helen Keller you,” meaning, “I can’t be bothered with you” or “You’re dead to me.”
Anyway, he’s pretty naked in a bathtub, if you’re into bald white dudes with tattoos and lots of bling. (And allegedly big dicks.)
