  1. Oh, Betty – I’ve never been happier to be a queer socialist and atheist in this old racist, narrow-minded country. Weren’t you proud to be an American when that toddler shot his mother in the Wal-Mart checkout? … and doesn’t that Kirk Cameron pic belong on an ’80s Catalina Video box?

    1. I’m surprised the virgin with a million Tagalog names hasn’t commented on how hot he thinks Kirk is, since he’s so in touch with Western culture.

    2. I am happy to be a gay left wing agnostic/atheist in one of the best nations in the world in which to live: The United States of America.

      1. Yup same here. There may be lots of racists and homophobes here, but we are FAR better off in this country than the majority of the rest of the world. There will always be someplace that offers gays a better place to live, like Canada, but overall we’ve got it good, and it’s slowly getting better.

        1. I so agree with you guys, but I must admit that I have concerns for the future. I believe the “it’s neat to have a gay friend” mentality is ending. There seems to be way too much backlash. Maybe I’m just a pessimist; I hope I am!!
