Canadian stud Marcus McNeill is the type of gay porn star that exudes screen presence. And I’m not just saying that because of his huge cock. He brings such a hot energy to his scenes, whether he’s topping or bottoming.
I could watch Marcus dominate Ethan Chase in Private Collection all day long. However, I also love seeing him bent over for Markus Kage in Raging Stallion’s upcoming Hooked Up series.
Those genuine vibes can also be found in his Instagram Stories, where he provided thoughtful responses to a variety of fan questions.
Marcus McNeill & Gay-for-Pay Creators
One question asked for Marcus’ opinion on gay-for-pay porn stars.
He explained that he has “a little bit of a problem with it. Give the jobs to the gays or the bis.” But, he believes that it isn’t as much of an issue if the gay-for-pay performer is comfortable in their sexuality, friendly, and maintains a safe space.
However, Marcus noted that safe space isn’t always there with those performers. “Or it turns into locker room talk,” he continued. “You’re like, ‘What the hell is going on right now?”
He added that they shouldn’t be paid a lot more than gay creators, which frequently happens. “I have mixed feelings,” Marcus concluded.
Straight-for-Pay Creators & Double Standards
The next question asked his thoughts on gay creators going into straight porn.
His feelings for the previous question still apply here, adding that the job needs to get done. Respect and safety are most important.
But, Marcus DOES have an issue with double standards within the community. He said there aren’t very many people calling a gay-for-pay performer a “fake gay,” but when a gay creator films with “a cis woman, trans woman, or trans man, then suddenly, everyone’s like: ‘That’s disgusting. Fake gay. You’re trying to convert us.’ I just think that’s so narrow-minded.”
“There are people behind the phones on the other side that are seeing those comments,” he said, particularly pointing out cis women and trans creators. “They see these comments … how do you think that makes them feel? … It doesn’t give you the right to hate on someone’s body.”
Marcus’ advice: scroll past content that doesn’t interest you. Words of wisdom.

How do you feel about gay-for-pay and straight-for-pay creators?
For me, of course, 100% gay casting is always best. But let’s face it. Sometimes, in a world where you want to get the hottest guys together, sometimes a guy who has that uber hot look just might be straight – or at least that’s what they want for a life partner. In the end though, if a “straight” guy does gay porn for a living (not just a one-time thing), there more than likely is some enjoyment there. So maybe he’s a relationship-straight guy who loves gay sex. Nothing wrong with that. The problem just occurs when society decides what a “gay” guy is supposed to be versus what a “straight” guy is supposed to be. Some guys are just afraid of the “bi” label. :)
I fully support Markus’ main message that you don’t need to offend people with your malicious comments if you don’t like it. Don’t like it – don’t watch it.
Marcus is ultra hot, love him to pieces.
Personally I find gays who are 100% gay are the best. I don’t want to be with or watch someone who’s into fishy flange. Personal preference. We’re all free to shag who we want and vote with your wallet if it’s the porn you want to watch. The industry will produce whatever produces views and likes and money.
I am sure that fishy flange is why you are here.
If a gay man wants to get paid to fuck Depussy, & a straight man fuck Debussy, I see no reason why anyone should have a say in it. Period.
You can do so too, if you so wish.
Gay for pay has been part of the business for a long time, but nowadays there are enough gay and bi men doing porn it really should be irrelevant and many gay men are way hotter. As someone who has watched it for decades it isn’t that difficult to tell when the attraction is fake and is likely not actually attracted to men or could be a lack of chemistry too, these guys probably don’t have a lot of choice of who they’re in a scene with. That said, Markus is the whole package and is amazing to watch.
It’s true. The talent pool of men willing to have gay sex has widened and deepened since the stigma is going away.
They needed more men. And you could entice straight guys with money because they needed the talent for content.
There are bigger fish to fry now. These terms won’t even be in the vernacular in a few years if not a few quarters
