According to the Bay Area Reporter, several months later, after regularly entertaining Rivera and several other escorts at his home, the 66-year-old Neff (pictured) was found strangled to death in his burning Bay Point, California home.  Firefighters were called to blaze at 10PM on December 3rd, but after retrieving Neff’s body investigators determined he was already dead.

Rivera, age 23 of Vallejo, was apprehended on December 5th after allegedly trying to sell several rare flutes that had belonged to Neff, including a $23,000 gold-plated number he was trying to peddle to dealers in New York and Boston.

Though Rivera has not confessed to the murder, we’re thinking he’s in for more than the 20 years Nikolay Petrov’s likely getting for bludgeoning those senior citizens with a hammer.
