News is spreading across social media about the passing of gay porn legend Colton Ford. The award-winning performer, whose real name was Glenn Soukesian, was 62.
Director Chi Chi LaRue noted the news in a Facebook post a few hours ago. That was followed by a Facebook post from Glenn’s friend Tim Wood, who wrote that the former performer died “in a tragic hiking accident this past weekend.”
Wrote Wood: “With a very heavy heart I share this tragic news. While we don’t have all the details, I never would have dreamed that the photo below of Glenn Soukesian (Colton Ford) and I from 3 weeks ago would be our last. Glenn was involved in a tragic hiking accident this past weekend that took his life. He was a brilliant artist who always kept a song in his heart. Sweet, funny, kind, sassy – and hopelessly handsome. My heart is broken – it’s almost too much to take. One of my best friends, a man who helped save my life many years ago. I miss you terribly…I can’t stop the flood of tears. Sing with the angels, my beautiful, special soul. I love you.”
Ford has a short but illustrious career in adult entertainment from 2001 and 2003. The bulk of his work came in 2002, including films for Falcon’s Mustang and Jocks labels. He also worked for All Worlds, Men of Odyssey and MSR. Colton was named the 2003 GayVN Performer of the Year, and also won a Grabby the year before.
In 2005, he was the subject of the documentary Naked Fame, which chronicled his entry into a music career. Glenn continued to work in music, which was also shared on his YouTube channel. He collaborated with the likes of Cyndi Lauper, and charted on the Billboard dance charts. He also performed in theater and worked as a personal trainer over his long and diverse career.
Further details of his death are not known. Colton is the second gay porn legend to pass way this year following the death of Tim Kruger in February. Our deepest sympathies to all of Glenn’s family and friends. He will be deeply missed, and was one of the greats.

i had the privilege (luck? lol) of knowing them both during the early 2000, i first knew jason and blake, both very sweet. i had a close friend that did porn and i got to travel in that crowd for a while. after jason i ran into blake and colton , he was very kind and sweet, always smiling and welcoming. yes blake went back to canada and into a career in nursing. while i am NOT suggesting anything about these guys, i’d just like to make a sidenote comment that as the mid 2000s approached , the devastation and toll that meth took was awful. it kinda changed everything.
While I’m not in disagreement with the latter part of your comment, meth did and does in fact still cause a lot of devastation in the community, what purpose or relation does it serve if it’s not applicable to the guys you’re commenting on? Just seems entirely random.

Colton was one of a kind and I would go out on a limb to describe him in the leagues of Al Parker as an all-time great. Back in the late Y 2-K he and other porn stars were in a cool campy show, the Lair which was a lot of fun. He played the sheriff and of course always looked stunning in the uniform. A recent scene with Dallas Steele showed his stunning good looks and amazing sexual power. May this beautiful man RIP.

I remember him from back in the day, when he was with Blake Harper (whatever happened to him, BTW?) and had only recently discovered he was somewhat back in the scene and still making music. His porn career, while brief, was super good and he leaves a strong legacy. RIP.
The last I heard, Blake Harper returned to Canada and is now a nurse.
