With sadness, we share the news that former gay porn star Billy Herrington was killed in an auto accident at age 49.
Over the weekend, we learned the news that Billy Herrington had died in a car crash.
Known for his muscularity, Billy appeared in numerous gay films from many studios including Colt, Buckshot, All Worlds, and Can-Am Productions.
Billy got his start when a friend sent Playgirl nudes picture of him taken on Jones Beach. He went on to win their “Real Men of the Month.”
In 1998, did The Ricki Lake Show and the Dating Game. That led him to meeting Jim French of Colt fame. Jim filmed his first film, a JO video. Ultimately, as Colt Man of the year, Billy met Chi Chi LaRue who directed him in his feature film under the name Billy Herrington. Billy also appeared under the names ‘Billy Marcus’ and ‘Jake Mason’ in his early career.
It was Chi Chi who first broke the news of Billy’s passing.
Additionally, Billy amassed a huge following in Japan.
This began in 2007 after clips from one of his films titled “Workout Muscular Men 3” were used for click-bait memes.
Billy would have turned 50 on July 14 this year.
