I’m a young, annoying millennial that’s been immersed in gay internet culture since the dark days of Tumblr, so it should come as no surprise that I had an extremely long phase of my life that was devoted to Glee. While I currently view Glee as a truly horrific piece of trash, my brain is still broken enough to actually enjoy any form of Glee content, so that’s why I was fucking pumped to see this Glee star over on NakedSword!
For its latest update to Summer Cinema, a page on NakedSword that lets fans watch a different queer-centric film for free every month, “the Netflix of gay porn” is showing off Geography Club – the 2013 queer comedy starring Glee icon, Broadway actor, and recording artist Alex Newell!
This high school flick focuses on a group of students with varying sexual orientations that form an after-school club as a discreet way to share their feelings and experiences. Along with Alex, this movie features performances from Nikki Blonsky, who you might know from the movie Hairspray or the “Hey, it’s Nikki Blonsky from the movie Hairspray” meme, and Saturday Night Live legend Ana Gasteyer.
Geography Club is currently available for anyone to watch for FREE on the Summer Cinema page of NakedSword for this weekend and this weekend only. After that, the movie will move into the member area of the site where it can only be accessed by NakedSword members.
