To say that you are a recovering Mormon is kind of an oxymoron. If you were ever truely a CONVERTED Mormon you would never say that. Your a Mormon who never got it. And to say that Mormons dont like sex is obsurd. First of all, do you see how many kids some of them have? Thats a whole other issue though. Trust me, I think most of them should have less kids. None the less, most of my Mormon friends, including myself, have healthy sex lives. By the way, if your clerical leader asked you to not do something and you did it anyways then you arent really understanding the Bigger Picture, are you. I guess thats what agency is for. As a former (and recovering) Mormon, I know ALL about the beliefs of the LDS church. Go ahead and sit around all night and RESPECT each other. The reality is, that’s what people do who, underneath it all, simply don’t like sex. Include me OUT.
Apparently neither of you understand the beliefs of the LDS church. It has nothing to do with “showing off what God gave them” or judging the beauty of God’s creation. It has to do with modesty and being a gentleman. It also has to do with the fact that your body is sacred and to be shared with your eternal companion… not the entire world. I find it much more sexy to have a gentleman who, if he respects his body, will also respect mine.
